According to the legend, the castle of giants stands on top of the mountain. I used the beanstalk to climb to the top and saw a huge sword soaring at the entrance to the dark castle. The blade was made of some strange metal – I touched it and immediately cut myself on the blade! When a drop of my blood landed on the blue metal, I heard a heartbreaking cry – coming somewhere from the castle. Beyond myself with fear, I rushed downstairs. I bet you – I awakened some curse! Velva, an old sorceress, lives somewhere nearby. They say she knows everything that was and will be. Ask her about that sword and the castle. I am not at risk – I'm afraid she will turn me into a toad!

Of course, I remember Hrungnir in his glory days – and in the days of his demise. He was a smart boy, just like his father – Yorick! And both were keen to listen to my advice. It was I who gave them two the idea to go to Bjolvjun cave where, according to legend, ancient evil was sealed. Don’t you want to go there? I remember that day very well: both Yorick and Hrungnir entered the cave, but only Hrungnir came out...

Without a doubt, Hrungnir killed his father with the sword that was once thrust inside this stone!

Poor Yorick! I knew him even better than you can imagine! He was a great King – nothing like his son! After he laid his eyes on Izergold sword shining in the darkness of the cave, Hrungnir wanted to have it. And this was exactly what this sword wanted, because it was not your usual blade, but a magical one, with the evil will of its own. Izergold placed itself right into Hrungnir’s hands and possessed his mind. He ordered Hrungnir to kill his father. Hrungnir overnight became the new King and the murderer of his father. But now his thoughts were in the power of Izergold sword that was forged from the frozen blood of Jakkars...
