Gremlins admire all kinds of gadgets, despite being probably the worst tinkerers the world has ever knew. No wonder the tiny toy workshops that we’ve got all over the island were quickly overrun by these green saboteurs. Grinch’s pointy-eared minions believe that there are way too many excess parts inside our machines. They stole some cogwheels and took the machinery apart. They switched locks on the doors, too – now we have no way to get in. Fortunately, you might be able to negotiate with the greenskin rascals. Trade for the keys and the cogwheel to open the workshop and fix the machine!

The machine will keep churning out the toys for a while, but the gremlins will eventually ruin it again. These greenskins surely do have an excess part – brains inside their heads! Still, with your help we can fix it again. Now that Grinch has instigated so many snow elves to go on strike, every working piece of machinery counts!

Try to strike a deal with the greenskin thieves roaming the island. The key to open the workshop door may be traded for some light bulbs from a broken festoon. As for the stolen cogwheel, a gremlin could give it away for a bottle of sour mulled wine. You can find both the festoon and the mulled wine inside the Krakatuk boxes.
