Even Grinch has a pet – appropriately, one as malicious and stupid as his master. Before Grinch have turned into a green villain, he dreamt of owning a tame unicorn. I even considered bringing it to the boy as a gift, but Grinch’s parents decided to do it on their own. Alas, they only saved enough money to purchase a crunchly instead. That hulk has little in common with an unicorn. The furry lummox became a sole creature Grinch had a soft spot for. He even recovered a few other crunchlies, so that his pet wouldn’t feel himself as alone. The crunchly grew into an ill-tempered and dangerous beast. Find him before he causes much grief!

I have a feeling that the crunchly hardly sensed most of the blows you’ve dealt to that furry hulk of his. His wounds are serious, but not lethal. He will rest for a night, lick his wounds and resume roaming his lair in search of food. Grinch is ought to take better care of his pet!

I noted on your map the location of the safe haven where the starving Hrumpel is prowling about. This safe haven is an entangled pattern of rooms, and each room is a new puzzle. You will have to solve them all before you can look for Hrumpel and fight him.
